We read Pet Show by Ezra Jack Keats as part of our author study. We also created our own pets using materials such as: yarn, construction paper, paper bags, cotton balls, sequins, tissue paper, toilet paper rolls, etc. We created our pets, drew pictures of our pets, and even gave our pets a name and age too. We introduced each of our pets during the pet show and shared one interesting fact about our pets. We had the privilege of having Mr. Nate assist us with this activity and many others during his time volunteering with us. We know we could not have been as creative and successful without him! Thank you so much Mr. Nate!
