Germs

We had a germ of a time learning the "ins and outs" of germs! We had 2 presenters from the Black Graduate and Professional Student Organization at the University of Virginia who are obtaining their Masters in Public Health make a cool black light presentation about germs. We saw the "germs" on our hands after we used the "germ" solution. Next, some of us washed our hands and others of us used hand sanitizer. Then we compared which hands were cleaner. We learned that washing our hands with warm water and soap is the best way to rid germs from our hands.

 Learning about germs can be fun too!
