Math tubs and Ladybugs

We had a fantastic time working in our math tubs this week. Here are a few photos of us working hard and our creations. 

Today was a lucky day! Look at all the ladybugs that found us! We were excited!

We created timelines to show how we have grown and changed over time. We created our timelines in our classroom with the support of teachers. We included pictures, portraits, and drawings. We drew 2 future illustrations on our timeline and captioned the pictures, portraits, and drawings on our timelines.

Fall Fun in First Grade

Fall Fun rotations were dangerously fun and exciting! Firsties traveled to each first grade classroom for a fall activity. We made scarecrow cookies, created the pumpkin cycle, built noodle skeletons, and stirred up some "witches brew."

 We had a great time counting the seed in our pumpkins with our table group! Look how many seeds we collected and grouped by 10s!

Team Building

Team Building Day was a blast! We enjoyed working together as a class, with partners, and with small groups. It was a fantastic day for us to come together with our family of firsties and our entire Hollymead Team!
